I don't disagree with you, but I'm not sure if I agree, either. There's no doubt in my mind that Morrissey struggles (or struggled - much of his recent output has toned down the depressive themes present in earlier works) with depression and uses sarcasm as a weapon, but he exaggerates much of it, as in "Unloveable," which uses overly trite lyrics to poke fun at the persecution complex many of his fans are said to have.

Also, I'm one who generally relates to what Mozzer is saying, as well. :D

I absolutely love how over the top the lyrics to Unlovable are :)

I also really enjoy the idea of using persona's in music, as well. As a novelist does not always write books that directly express their principles, thoughts or emotions, I think music should be the same way. In Morrissey's case, just because he's never been interested in relationships does not mean that he shouldn't write a love song, and so on. Of course, a lot of that suffers from fans attempting to look way too deeply into lyrics, in an attempt to glean some deep insight into the performers life. Because it always works like that.

Finally got around to playing episode 2 of The Walking Dead and holy crap was it good. Definitely check it out if you've slept on it, easily my favorite game this year.

Do you watch the show or read the comic?

    Well... no.

    Is that necessary?

No, the game is based off the comic, but it's not exactly the same as the comic. I think Glenn is the only character in the game that was in the comic.

I don't know, I haven't played it yet. I was just asking because I love the comic and thought I could talk to you about it.

Oh sorry. Not that I wouldn't love to talk to you about something new.

How do you read it? Do you go to the comic book store?

The library has the trades and after I caught up I bought them digitally with the ComiX app.
