Yeah I'm on the edge that's why I was asking.

No Keith or John really makes me think maybe I won't considering they are my favorite half of the band.

RO: The main riff to New Order's "Age of Consent" may be one of the most hypnotic ever written. No matter what's piled on to it, I'm listening to that damn riff.

For what it's worth, I saw him a while back, and he did a great job (sounds much better in person). I may be biased though, since he did a few Quadrophenia tracks (including "The Real Me"). I could practically forgive him croaking those.

Well in this tour they're doing Quadrophenia in FULL which is a huge plus for me being my favorite album.

That's a huge draw for me, Quadrophenia is freaking awesome.

I still have yet to watch that movie. I need to see that even though it's only based on it and not exactly like Tommy.

I want to setup a public folder for anyone to anonymously upload their own recorded audio for free use/collaboration/etc.
What would be my best bet? Something like Dropbox would be nice, though I don't know if they even do public shares, as I've only used it to share stuff with close friends.

Also, do Internet music collaborations always immediately fail because people are shy/lazy/unorganized?
What if people just upload and don't overthink it, kinda like jamming in person?

If I can get my recording stuff back to snuff, I'd be willing to just do that for sure.

Dropbox has a public folder, but that's typically for outsiders to download to a folder, not upload.

For having a multi-user upload system for Dropbox you'd need to give everyone your login information, which seems like a security risk waiting to happen.

Maybe it would be easiest to just start a dummy mediafire account and give interested parties the login and pass. If someone deletes it then we'll consider the band finished.

So we'd all just upload any things we're working on?

    That sounds really cool.
