So after how many civil rights violations, wrongful imprisonments, and executions, not to mention selling arms to Syria and in general using its membership in the UN to grease the wheels for massacre and genocide across the globe, the world protest of Russia only begins after three cute girl punk rockers are arrested for doing something that would obviously get them arrested in a totalitarian state?

And these three women have gotten off pretty easily by Putin's standards (for now).

don't complain, at least people are protesting. just goes to show the power of music in inspiring people to mass action.

To be honest, I'm just glad people are finally getting wise to Russia's dictatorship. Putin is a president in name only.

Not bad, good to see you around here again. How've you been?

On an unrelated note, it appears Bad Brains has expressed in Rock Band, so maybe we'll be getting some more Hardcore after all at some point or another.

This thread still doubles as "Stupid Things You've Heard About Music" right?

This one is from my mom, as she's flipping through radio stations (and being nice enough to blare it through the entire house.)

In reference to enjoying both Owl City/Carly Rae Jepsen's "Good Time" and The Beatles "Love Me Do".

"See, I'm a flexible person. I enjoy all the faces of music"

Anyone got a desk they won't mind me planting my face in?

Oh yes, because liking two forms of pop music makes her so ECLECTIC, haha.
