It's kind of a shame that most of that new Foxygen album is really irritating, because "No Destruction" is a great song.
Oingo Boingo finally on Rock Band! whoo! sadly just one song, and well, I was hoping "Goodbye, Goodbye" would be the final DLC, and "Weird Science" wouldn't be my first pick, but I'm still super happy.
I'm happy as well, it took way too long to get those guys into the game. And only a single song at that, but it's finally happened.
I also just read that Alvin Lee died a few days ago. R.I.P.
Finally got a new Xbox card, gonna hit up some DLC soon.
The SimCity servers are finally working though, so it may be a few days until I get around to it.
WHEN IT'S TIME TO PARTY WE WILL GET AROUND TO IT LATER.
Not a band idea at all nice thread
Damn, just heard about Clive Burr.
Also Peter Banks.
Not a good day for music fans.
Oh, hey, I got a PS3 yesterday.
Cool, add me if you want. I have no idea what games you play.
So I was in Ukraine last week. Pretty cool country. Alcohol was cheaper than anywhere I've ever seen in my life.
Haha, that does sound awesome. What other countries in Europe if any do you plan to visit?
Well, just in the past 12 months, I've been to a couple of countries in Europe: Romania, Italy (studied there for 3 1/2 months), France, Belgium, Germany, and, of course, Ukraine. That's on top of having been to the UK, Greece, and Italy once before earlier. I'd like to spend more time in Germany (I only spent a night in a hotel outside of Frankfurt after I missed my connecting flight from Ukraine), and I definitely want to go to some Central European countries like Austria and the Czech Republic at some point.
I sold just under 100 LP's today. I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack.
Ouch. Why were you selling them?
Moving?
Damn let me know next time.
My collection is only rising right now. How many did you have at the peak of collecting?
Well into the thousands, though a lot was used stuff from thrift stores. I worked at a Goodwill for nearly 5 years, so that opened lots of doors, and then I worked at a music store (I would say record store, but it was mostly CD-based) for a bit.
I'm not big on mailing stuff, but next time I do an ebay auction I'll send you a PM.
I'd like to get back into doing my own microlabel, but first I need a bit more space for storage, silkscreening, etc.
That's the majority of my collection as well. Along with my parents old stuff. I'm probably only at 300 or so right now though.
Definitely keep me up to date though if you throw anything online. I'm sure you're selling the least collectible stuff or doubles first.
Welcome back everyone. While I don't post nearly as much as I used to, it was odd not being able to check the forums for that long.
Speaking of the forums being down, it seems it still isn't functioning correctly. I can not get a thread to post for the life of me, it's getting kinda annoying, this happening to anyone else?
that was some cyber attack. had to be the North Koreans
I think it was revenge of Oscar.
Glad to see the forums are back up and running.

How are the Dance Central forums?
The North Koreans can't even power up their capitol city at night. Unless Kim Jung Un became really petty with his attacks and targeted Harmonix message boards for some odd reason, I doubt that the North Koreans had anything to do with it. Now the Venezuelans I can see doing this.
Could be an Activision thing, too. Trying to get back at Harmonix for making better music games and whatnot.
RIP Chi Cheng
No happy ending to his story unfortunately. :(
Is there a more straightforward morbid song than "The Rake's Song"?
Additionally seeing on Facebook that Cordell "Boogie" Mosson, the featured bass player for Parliament-Funkadelic, may have died, although have not seen official confirmation elsewhere. Apparently he's had a couple of health scares in the last couple of years, however.
