So they are a middleman, hence the need for increased cost so everyone gets paid.
Whatever. Overpriced services won't last if there are better options out there. Hopefully the bands will exercise...
Can't say I'm looking forward to playing the same 3 bass notes or the same canned drum pattern over and over again but I guess we'll see what they do with it.
I think the problem is more about communication. It's like calling someone on the phone and them putting you on hold for 45 minutes. It's very frustrating. It's less frustrating though if they...
Is the destroyer still the non-adjustable Dixon pedal?
Blame Harmonix for their nonexistent communication.
There's no reason why when an update is added that there can't be an announcement with details of what the update does. I guess they like the...
These are the sticks I got: http://www.amazon.com/Catz-Noise-Reducing-Drumsticks-Playstation-3/dp/B001EO6J5G
The rubber tip is really bendable on them but too much so for a soft pad like the Ion.
They're really weird. They are black drumsticks with a very rubbery tip. I think the rubber is way too soft. It's not like when you put a rubber cap on a regular stick. It's like a wad of wobbly...
Just an FYI:
MadCatz make a pair of rubber tipped drum sticks that I bought to try out with my Ion. The noise level was cut down so much that I was amazed BUT they caused so many dropped hits...
I also have a wired Turtle Beach headset and it's just amazing.
Voice does not work on the RB instruments with the Turtle Beach wireless headsets so keep that in mind.
This and the fact that the Rock Pedal can be adjusted whereas the Destroyer cannot.
I'm a little slow today. I read the first post and got confused once an additional arm was brought into the equation.
If I want to replace my yellow Ion cymbal with the Pintech, can I just buy...
The Destroyer Pedal is made with a cheap, non-adjustable Dixon pedal. It uses a magnetic sensor and works great but no greater than any of the other choices available and is not adjustable. To me...
Shouldn't these types of posts be in the General forum?
I have the Turtle Beach X1 headset. It's wired. There is a USB connection to the Xbox that plays the game sounds but if you want to chat on live you have to plug a cable (it comes with the headset)...
When I was using my xbox headset with the RB1 drum kit, I had to really push the adapter's jack into the puck. The best way to test it is to record a voice message to a friend and talk while pushing...
I have both and prefer the sunburst guitar. The strum bar is quiet but not mushy and it's just a really attractive guitar. The fret buttons are quieter than the other guitars I've tried.
The new...
I finally beat it on Hard drums two days ago. It was my 3rd try at it. I have no idea how the hell I got through it.
I listened to the songs that were linked in another post and didn't like almost all of them. I'm open to new music but a lot of this stuff is like the music you'd get on CDs in the dollar store.

This thread sorta blows away the "we need an easier mode for the kids" thread that was posted about a week ago...
