I concede that they can't know that it will never happen. But they likely have a lot of information that we don't, which would be nice to pass on. So, maybe not say it's never going to happen, but...

The game only version does feel like a sick joke played on everyone who bought it... I do think it would have been better to not release it till there was at least some way to play the game more...
