I would guess you can. When you're selecting your difficulty, I bet you will be able to scroll down past easy to "no-fail" or whatever they call it.

You have obviously never had a party with lots of folks that have never played Rock Band or Guitar Hero, but think it's a blast to pretend to be a rock star. That's the whole point of no-fail mode....
