Rock Band isn't available in Europe for PS2, PS3 or Wii. Sadly, you're out of luck without a modded console and instruments bought from the US.

Pixies is one of the best bands ever, so I'm glad they're in. As for the complaints, I understand most people here like their music easier to swallow and more mainstream, nothing wrong with that.
