I think the problem is you guys just suck, Visions is not that hard on any instrument. Advice = get better.

The Smiths w/o Morrisey != The Smiths
= [
I would love just about anything from either band.
Hah, not my favorite band... but it would be so much fun to play rock band wearing nothing but a loincloth.
Manowar dlc ftw!
Maybe we enjoy when our ears bleed.
For me, Therion is in the same boat as Amorphis... I just can't get into their proggy stuff, but the early death metal stuff is AMAZING!
Early At the Gates is awesome... and I don't like Amorphis' proggy stuff, but the first two albums and the Privilege of Evil EP rule.
I've sort of realized that I never really contribute to these...
2nd the Enslaved and Emperor... and w00t for Amorphis, even though I don't dig their later stuff.
Awesome thread!!!!!!!
So many songs I love, in particular, Television, Gang of Four, and Joy Division... three of my favorite bands.
And this thread actually turned me on to a band (Wire), that...
I was about to make a thread about this album. It's beautiful.
YES, Death and Atheist are essential; Death's Human is in my top 5 favorite extreme metal albums
I love the vocals! I wish I knew some more obscure Shoegaze bands, any recommendations?
Ah, I was going to rec. Cynic, great band!!!
The North American tour ended in October, not sure about any other touring plans.
09-30 San Francisco, CA - The Concourse
Errrrrrrrrrrrr, I was supposed to be there!!!
*KICKS SELF*
Has nothing to do with Visions, but I'm listening to Transilvanian Hunger after seeing it as Afterstasis' avatar, lovely album, forgot how much I liked it.
I LOVE MY BLOODY VALENTINE and quite a few of the other bands mentioned here.
I'm still kicking myself for missing the MBV show back in Sept/Oct
Enabling? Silly boy.
How about Marshmallows and Pestilence, or Death and Rainbows?
On an aside, Death and Pestilence are both amazingly awesome bands.
YES!!!!!!!
Well, that's definitely understandable, and how I felt when i first encountered the genre. Death metal demands very active listening, and some people just aren't willing submit their attention...
If you'd like, when I have some free time, I'll tab out the guitars for you.. then once and for all this can be silenced. As a guitarist that has played in a death metal band, I can honestly say that...
Hmmm, ******ation. Ad hominem much?
