I've been hoping for another FreQ/Amp type game, but I'm a little sad that there doesn't appear to be any avatar creation. I liked creating little avis in FreQ.
One thing I'm happy about is that my created characters can be used in all modes this time. I would never play quickplay in RB2 because I hated the prefabs.
One thing I don't mind not having is...
I've been playing rhythm games since 1997. Since then, it's been my favorite genre. Though music games may be a passing fad in the U.S., they're still doing well in Japan.
I'd really want a Squier, pretty please with a cherry on top. ^_^
Oh, I didn't think of that. And wow, I made a few bad typos with that last post. Sorry
If this is an issue dealing with the game's overshell, I wouldn't have minded having a separate...
I agree. That suggestion doesn't help PS3 users at all. Each player can't sign into their own profiles like in the 360 version, despite there being other PS3 games that allow this.
I would...
Hmm..what about Konami? They've been doing music gaming for over a decade in Japan. Maybe then we could get some Guitar Freaks and DrumMania DLC. XP
This is very debatable. I actually prefer most of their music games over Rock Band. Maybe not Guitar Freaks or DrumMania, but Beatmania IIDX, Pop'n Music, and DDR for sure.
But you have to...
Signed!
I was shocked to find that there are 19 prefabs, and only 10 slots for our own characters. Very lame. I quickly filled all 10 in just two days.
If this is really some sort of...
I actually like the way career mode and road challenges are set up in RB3. They allow much more freedom of choice. I hated RB2's tour mode, especially that last setlist that made you play through...
Yes. I let a friend of mine make a character on my account when we were playing together. He accidentally forgot to pick an eye color and didn't like the default color he had. So he deleted his...
At first when I was hearing about all the character and band limitations, I thought I was going to be disappointed. But, I'm having a blast and can't put it down. I love the way road challenges and...
Ah okay. Then this doesn't really change things for me afterall. Even if the PS3 could do that, I'd be using my main account and would only be playing with one other person most of the time. I'm...
Very true. Not many U.S. gamers know this or want to believe it. I seriously think if it hadn't been for the inspiration from Guitar Freaks and DrumMania, the ideas for games like Guitar Hero or...
I wouldn't say it's sony's fault. I know from personal experience there have been PS3 games to allow each player to sign into their own account like Little Big Planet and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World...
What do you mean? I only said that because earlier in this thread I mentioned I was hoping we could have cross-profile character selection for PS3. I wasn't sure if Bront meant there's no...
Bront says no, at least for the ps3 version I'm assuming.
I dunno...I would've rather had a separate character select screen if it meant more character slots. Just saying.
Exactly how I feel. For those that don't want to scroll through a bunch of characters, they don't have to make many. As for me, I wouldn't mind scrolling through 100 if I could. We should be...
