The funny thing is, Bob Dylan has even said he prefers playing Hendrix's version of AATWT.
He has such a rich discography to pull from, so it's not like there's a lack of fan favorites.
I'm sure by now most of you heard of the big promotion Rock Band was doing on FB. When they got to 2 million, they were going to announce some new "Major" artists to Rock Band.
I thought this was...
It appears that us Wii owners may never get an export for the Lego version of Rock Band. Despite having the game, it frustrates me to see I'll never be able to port it onto RB3 like I did with GD:RB...
I really enjoyed the Billy Joel packs on Keys. :D
Sorry just saw you said you have all the Billy Joel tracks. =_=
As for casual games, I think the Wii wins.
But if I really want to be immersed in a story, (Mass Effect, Red Dead, GTA IV) I'll play the X-Box.
Dude. Smash Bros. has still got it. Hahaha, that game gets more attention at parties then Rock Band does, admittedly.
Sorry for the misleading title guys. But if their is one thing I learned in Journalisim, you've gotta give people that hook to get them to read.
The Beatles and Green Day were both excellent ports indeed.
Another major issue with the Wii is that DLC is much less popular it seems, then on the other two systems.
It's more of a casual hobby. I play for about an hour, three days a week.
Regardless, I'm still in the top 2% of the world. I'm not out to break records or anything. I play to enjoy some music and...
That's exacty what I meant. Sorry for any confusion.
You consider I Wanna Be Your Man a chill song? I've been playing that one for two years now and it still takes a lot work to get 5 stars on it.
See, the thing is, I actually have a 360. But I've put so much money into DLC by now, (Starting with Rock Band 2) it just doesn't make sense to switch.
The Spinal Tap pack...I honestly can't speak for. I only picked up that one song. While I enjoy Spinal Tap, I'd rather use my points elsewhere.
I had no idea EVERYONE was affected by it. It really sucks doesn't it?
Spending all that time on your characters only to see them replaced by a generic background? :(
Online on the Wii.
And it's all because of one reason.
The stupid backgrounds.
There's no characters. No stage, no audience. No ANYTHING.
Just a pattern. That repeats over. And over. And...
Spinal Tap's-Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You has a lot of those. Fun song to play.
I'd also recommend the aforementioned "Tuesday's Gone". Really fun song to play.
Just for fun. Just as a casual play through, not worrying about scores or anything like that. Just rocking out to a few of your favorite tracks.
Mine include:
Folsom Prison Blues-Johnny Cash

Sadly, I think that if we were to get the Barenaked Ladies, we'd get much less content. Maybe one to three. If it's one, you know they'll pick "One Week". It was their big hit and all.
I've been honestly thinking this for about two years now. And how I would kill to play some Misfits in RB. But I think the issue is that Danzig isn't particularly close to his old band mates.
...
Honestly I've only heard the New Found Glory cover of "The Promise". But I really do like it, so, regardless the version they release, I'll defintley pick it up.
