Surely it can't be that difficult? He wants it in. We want it in (and are willing to pay cash money for it). So surely Harmonix (and others) must want it in as well? :P

The only problem with adding this song to Rock Band is that there's currently no way to buy multiple copies of a single track.
Seriously, Harmonix. This has to be a no-brainer.
Horrible idea. Fine for the people who get there on time, but plenty of those who miss out would end up buying GH:WT instead. In some cases that sort of scheme can work, but when you're launching...
Releasing disc-only would be an easy option, as would shipping limited numbers of RB1 instrument sets.
Ah, that one stops when you quit trolling. I hear the wait on that's longer than for the Australian release of RB2, though.
I'm thinking it'll coincide with a proper announcement of the launch of Rock Band 2 over here at a sensible price. Strange how cause and effect works, isn't it?
I've got an ION IED01 drum kit, which I believe is the model the Rock Band controller is based on. Is there any way to use this as a controller for the game, short of getting one of the MIDI to...
The problem with importing the hardware (and one of the reasons I never did that) is that you don't get any usable warranty with it - which is a big issue given the reliability problems Rock Band...
It's been confirmed by several people on the tech support board. Here, for example...
More importantly for those of us with the game, the patch also fixes the problem with DLC not working. :)
Probably just slightly odd phrasing, but to clarify: it is definitely region-locked on 360. VG+ tried the released version on their PAL 360, and it is region-locked.
As I've had to explain on numerous occasions, a lot of the people complaining in Europe are doing so because they want the game to succeed over here. It gives more people to play against without...
And if any of the fanbase there caused offence, it would likely also be for the things that happened around the European release. It all starts with the horrible handling of the game in Europe, and...
It's amazing how everyone involved in the process is not to blame for any of the problems. I've seen apologists for all three companies involved insist that it's the fault of one (or both) of the...
Don't pay full price for your MS points. Either buy them from somewhere selling at less than RRP or somewhere that does Quidco.
It's to make up for the fact that half the DLC doesn't actually work. :p
But yes, the pricing was a pleasant surprise, and resulted in HMX immediately getting a big chunk of money as I immediately...
<glances up at the thread title>
Doesn't look like they did a very good job of making that clear, does it?
Yeah. Because laughing at your own customers over how you gouged them is sound business practice. Should have only made the bandana available in the store after you've played for ten months as well...
"Superhuman". :p
You can probably afford a USB mic, though. You can pick them up quite cheaply, and apparently most of them work with Rock Band. ;)
They can feel free to take their time on this one as far as I'm concerned - it'll be a while before my drumming skills are up to Brass in Pocket. :p
