I'd really like to look into this.
I like Slash. Just the feel in his playing, I really admire it.
It still isn't over
It's more sporadic, but it's still alive.
For example, Dream Theater released Octavarium, an album that flows entirely through itself, in 2004
And Metropolis Part 2, a...
But I voted for Ride the Lightning.
I openly admit I liked Death magnetic, but Ride The Lightning is, by leaps and bounds, Metallica's best album.
1) Ride the Lightning owns face. I love the first 4 albums, and The Black Album was pretty good, but RTL is incredible.
2) Yes, I did like Death Magnetic. Bite me.
3) Who the hell voted St. Anger?!
Usually I do whatever else I would do - go on the internet, play a video game, whatever.
I only truly listen to and pick apart albums I'm really excited for, like I did with Black Clouds & Silver...
I honestly do.
It's RARE, but I do it.
My best example is Guns N' Roses, because the greatest hits album contains most of my favorite songs by them, and what I can't find there I can find on...
Hm...
I think I have to change it
Either Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd
Octavarium by Dream Theater
6DOIT movements II (About to Crash) and VII (About to Crash [Reprise])
The Fragile - Nine...
IT'S A TRAP!
Seriously, though, Zeppelin. It's the painfully obvious choice.
That's like saying Queen vs. Hollywood Undead...
In no real order
Fade to Black - Metallica
Halo - Machine Head
Descend the Shades of Night - Machine Head
Octavarium - Dream Theater
Metropolis Pt. 1 (LIVE from Score) - Dream Theater
The Dark...
Sacrificed Sons - Dream Theater
Whole song is about Sept. 11th.
It's even more moving live.
If anybody knows how to turn an epic performance into a tear-fest it's Trent...
Blackout - Muse
The Fragile - Nine Inch Nails
Somewhat Damaged - Nine Inch Nails
Wither - Dream Theater
Haha wow that's pretty funny
Also, a one-armed drummer playing Lamb of God and Wintersun?!
I must meet this god among men!
Don't you mean the Gilmour era?
I liked The Division Bell...
The Waters era was the best, really, but The Division Bell was awesome.
Tough debate between two songs, both by Dream Theater
Either Octavarium, or A Change of Seasons.
Helloween:
Victim of Fate: 3
Guardians: 1
Keeper of the Seven Keys: 1
Metal Invaders: 1
Blind Guardian:
Valhalla: 2
This Will Never End: 1
Banish from Sanctuary: 2
See what happens...
Try some Kamelot. Can't hurt.
If you like that, look into Blind Guardian, Nightwish, and/or Dream Theater (Dream Theater is relevant because they're Dream Theater, and John...
I've experienced the opposite effect every now and again.
Especially with bands like Dragonforce.
But the one band I can say I hated until I heard their live material, is Rammstein. It just sounds...
LTE is incredible.
A couple songs as DLC would be great, but we won't get too many (if ANY), because there's no vocalist.
