I've never understood that comparison either. I mean, if they sounded anything like Smashing Pumpkins, I wouldn't like them. As it turns out though, I do like them. Quite a bit.

No matter how much hatred I harbour for certain bands, it really is a shame when a musician of any calibre dies, especially at a young age with a family. It really is quite odd all these musicians...

Why have A7X not broken up yet? They've been re-releasing the exact same set of songs on their past few albums, and then recently they lost their only talented member (and even he wasn't that great)....
