I do want to say thanks to Harmonix for the amazing ride and that I eagerly await the future for what you all have in store. Who knows, perhaps the next generation of consoles may need their own set...
They're Red Hot also suffers from the disco flip to make it easier to pass epidemic.
Might as well try.
Personally, you shouldn't get anything until you get a dang blue cymbal. :p
HMX seems like the kind of people that'll let that slide though.
Oh wow, I didn't think you guys would go this far out of the way for the fans. Maybe a hug and a card with a picture of a kitty that knocked over a glass of milk or something. This plus the update...
I, too, am very disappointed at this decision with CTP2. As someone who bought it in February for XB360 for $30 was under the impression that I was paying a sort of premium to have the songs earlier...
And Sebastian Shaw was played in First Class by Kevin Bacon...oh are we not playing that game?
If it can't use my old songs and instruments, or if doesn't play like the Rock Band I know and love I don't want anything to do with it.
I feel that Harmonix should suck it up and make one last...
Here's as good a place as any to say it. Thanks for the free Nirvana pack HMX! You guys rock!
One ticket to the Nirvana pack, please.
This time I'll win because I already have all the songs, of course. I can always give them to my bud.
Go, go, contest entry!
Man, 100 songs worth of MSP. I could buy like a thousand songs with that.
They're Red Hot is busted. It's disco flipped so all of the regular snare hits are charted to the hi-hat and the accents are on the red pad. I don't have it to check but I would assume other songs...
Agreed. If this is the solution. then there is no way I'm upgrading a single one of my dlc tracks. $20 again to get keys and harmonies into my Queen songs if they're upadated? Yeah, whatever.
Bingo. Until HMX let's us know why Monsoon is some magic exception, I'll just wait patiently for the real reason why the DLC I bought is blocked from the Rock Band "platform."
As for on disc and beyond RB3/DLC songs I think the game will chart disco beats on red like it has for standard drums, but know to switch it to yellow=hi hat/red=snare for pro drums. I say this...
I'm pretty sure mine was Take Back the City.
If it helps, my score on X guitar is 77,109 which was an FC, so you'll know if you are close. Unfortunately, I don't remember my path, but recall using my BM whenever the 3 note chords came up.
