There's giving your opinion and then there's the type of hyperbolic nonsense that I was responding to. Glad you can tell the difference.

How dare HMX not consult with you on what the appropriate next-to-last release would be. Don't like it, don't buy it. Even though Chevelle is not a band I particularly like, the incessant whining...
I'm about to give up on ever getting Jerry Lee Lewis on the ps3. Very depressing.
Except basically what he just did was walk into the room, look under the bed, and say, "yes, I know you're afraid there's monsters under the bed, I'll tell you later if there is." Then he turned...
I don't know if it's the worst song in Rock Band, but it's probably the worst song on my hard drive. If I were to ever go on a homicidal rampage, it would be because I heard that song one too many...
At this point it doesn't make sense to get your hopes up for any band since it looks like the dlc pipeline is drying up. There may very well be only 5 weeks of new content coming. So what's the...
It sounds like more than just the export key. All of the pre-RB3 songs from HMX went into the RB1 file. If you deleted that game file, you deleted all your songs except the RB3 ones.
No, the Run to the Hills cover does not export. Exactly the same as Paranoid and Enter Sandman. The link you posted shows nothing about the song exporting, so I don't know what the point of...
Uhm.. no it hasn't.
You may want to re-read what you quoted. He is not saying what you think he is saying.
Or it could be that a lot of us didn't like the actual choices available this year. Every year prior to this I averaged buying 50% of the songs. This year it went all the way down to 13%.
I ended up voting for 2009, mainly because of Alice in Chains. 2012 is just bad... really, really bad.
2008: 25 songs
2009: 25
2010: 21
2011: 8
2012: 2
If you browse through the full music store, you'll find a lot of discounted songs that for some reason don't show up in the on sale section. The Cars songs are one example, the Screaming for...
My interpretation:
Because of the gravitational attraction between the earth and the moon, tides rise when the ocean is under the moon.... Thus a swelling of the ocean, just like the swell of...
First, "dozens" hardly compares to "all online players" now does it?
Second, if/when RB3 songs become exportable, they still won't play in RB2 because the files are fundamentally different. And...
Where exactly in my post did I say you only buy 70's music? It doesn't really matter. Like I said, both sides of this argument is getting pretty damn silly.
The other translation is that he has a stricter definition of classic rock than you. Granted, his complaining is tiresome. But so is the argument that RAtM is going to satisfy someone who wants...
Harmonix is being kind by giving us DLC? DLC is a privilege? You could just as easily say we are being kind to HMX for buying their product and that it is a privilege for them to get our money.

The only song Nicko McBrain has ever recorded using double kick was "Face in the Sand." So even though that section is really fast, it was done with only one pedal.
I bought blitz mainly for the songs, but wanted to give the game a shot. It only took one song to figure out that I never need to play the game again. I understand that a lot of you love the game...
