Easy way to implement this:
1) If no-fail is on and nobody "uses" it, record the score and upload as normal. It had no effect on gameplay.
2) If no-fail is on and somebody is prevented from failing...
Yeah my guess was 9/8 as well. I tried writing it out as triplets and it was pretty awful to read compared to 9/8.
So either way it does seem that Harmonix prefers to chart that sort of rythm as...
A related question for those better with time signatures than me:
Is it more correct to say that "De-luxe" is in 9/8 or that it's in 3/4 triplets, or is there really no difference between the two?
Can't be tamed is 4/4 with a shuffle feel, it's charted correctly. The drum beat matches up with the thick lines as it should.
The guitar part highlighted is actually triplets.
edit: it's...
It's too early to panic about the new roll styles, we don't know how much they'll be used (and IMHO they make perfect sense for cymbal "rolls"), and there might be a toggle to switch them off anyway....
That doesn't actually confirm that it'll be a Queen-specific game or that it'll be on the Rock Band platform. Stay calm :)
Probably because it's a small feature that requires a reasonable amount of work + would affect 0.01% of the rock band audience.
The vast majority of players don't even play expert on any...
Increasing the skill ceiling in a reasonable way is good in just about any game. You don't need to go beyond the classic Rock Band 5-button mode if you don't want to.
This makes rock band a deeper...
It will support SDHC, Beatles Rock Band did. As far as I know there is no other Wii specific information that's been released so your guess is as good as anyone else's on the rest of it!
When you say "excess string noise" are you under the impression that the Squire detects what note you're playing? I'm pretty sure HMX has confirmed that the Squire tech does not work by detecting...
Hi-hat support is way more important than double-bass support. If HMX ever makes a Rock Band 4 I hope they finally find a way to properly integrate the hi-hat pedal, as the lack of one is a serious...
Bass guitars can have more than 4 strings.
It's been revealed that Rock Band 3 drums has an option to "disable miss sounds" in the E3 demo, RB3 guitar will probably have that too, so you can always play with that option + no-fail and then do...
If you want to make your own music, the tools have been there all along. If you want to get it in the game, RBN is there for you.
Rock Band is a fantastic tool for engaging with music others have...
It's not just the SD card though, DLC uses a ticketing system that is saved to the Wii. This stores the information that tells the game which songs you've purchased.
Easiest way for them to go is...
Uhh... isn't there already a button press option for activating guitar overdrive? Harmonix is clearly ok with having a button press as an option.
There's no problem with also having one for...
Silverf*ck and Geek USA would be unbelievably awesome.
We don't need a hard drive, you can buy SDHC cards that are plenty big enough. There's no excuse not to allow the Wii to have all the songs in the catalogue if they release any more Rock Band games...
I would literally buy a new copy of RB2 just for SDHC support. I'd pay full price, no doubts about it.
