Pretty much confirms Queensryche and The Flys. Also the third one certainly isn't Deep Purple.
edit: Motley Crue is a good guess, and plays further into the umlaut clue.
Yes, you're right, I misread the original Twitter conversation. That said, the first hint suggests to me that it's a band/album/song with an umlaut in the name. Blue Öyster Cult, Motörhead, or Mötley...
And it fits perfectly with the "Gotcha" screenshot. I think this one is a lock.
But he was also in Jurassic Park, another movie about stuff from the past. Too bad "Back in Time" doesn't fit with the "artists new to Rock Band" hint.
Someone who doesn't play Rock Band would probably think this is pretty silly. "So you're sad... that they're not going to try to sell you additional content every week? And there's already over 4000...
Oh really? Are you sure this is true? It doesn't seem like HMX to release broken paid content and never fix it. And they have fixed content before. But if it is true, maybe it has something to do...
Guys! Guys, let me try...
Foo Fighters.
Dammit.
Goddammit, Zage! Let us have this one!!
Nice job, everyone who predicted Aerosmith! Now can we get a full explanation of that crazy poem?
Edit: just 2 seconds too late. Thanks, Magnet!
I agree, but I never use them because of their uselessness for scoring. I can think of all kinds of things that would make them more interesting... for example, maybe they give you more points for...
Is this rumor based on anything though?
I now strongly doubt it's Aerosmith. If everyone guessed it so accurately so quickly, why post another hint?
I'm also thinking along these lines. If you were going to link to Number of the Beast on YouTube, why link to an obscure live version, subtitled in Spanish of all things? It isn't even on the first...
Hm, that's a good idea. I still can't make anything out of it though. I thought it might be "Saint Tuderant" because you can get Trites out of that, but the leftover letters don't make any sense...
...
It's too obvious for it to actually be Van Halen. I like your idea about Aerosmith - the hints so far seem to suggest that it's something surprising, something people doubted we'd ever see as DLC in...
Halnaven = anagram of Van Halen
Tuderant = ???
The problem is that most power-ups in the game effectively have a hard limit on the number of points they can earn. Sure, you have to chase blast notes, and you can time bottle rockets to earn more...
This really is getting ridiculous...
As was mine. It must have been a stroke of good luck though, I haven't been able to do nearly as well since. I'm fairly certain that you can't do much better without using Pinball. Unfortunately I...
