Yea it seems like it will still be a while before it's launched. It was originally planned for launch in Mid-November, but with the open beta behind schedule, I think it will get pushed back at least...

Ultimately i think you need to decide if it would be fun to play. Not sure how fun it would be to play a piano part on the guitar in game. Depending on what the piano part is....it might feel weird...

Yea you should definitely get with a lawyer to help ink out some sort of contract with the band if you don't know what your doing.

This is a very good question. I haven't heard anything about any actual "forms" being required. I'm sure Harmonix will be watching carefully, and will pull songs if they find out a song was posted...
