In that case, you can use either an AC adapter with a USB port, or a powered USB Hub, to supply power to your keys.

Connect keys to PC using USB.
Connect USB-MIDI to PC using USB.
Connect USB-MIDI Out to MPA.
Configure keys to send MIDI via USB.
Use MIDIox to route keys to USB-MIDI.

Connect USB-MIDI...

Before there was Rock Band, I had a Roland TD-6V. Sometime in 2008 I managed to hook the two together.

It has since grown into the monster it is today.

That MIDI map makes 'em plug'n'play.

The MPA will be plug'n'play provided the module you intend to use has a MIDI Out port and sends the MIDI notes the MPA is programmed to respond to. The MPA can not be remapped.

Until I am physically unable to do so.

What it will be is anybody's guess.
