This could be your solution to your problem *if* it works in the game, if not, well you are out of luck. Headsets have been confirmed to not work as a mic around the time the game came out.

I miss the occasional note or two when playing in a band and using BM but nothing too bad.

My quick fix? Lower the brightness and tint on TV before playing.

RB bass pedals should work, but I'm not sure if the GH pedal would work. Only way you'll know is if, well, you try it out. ;)
