Dongles typically cost more than the guitars. Personally, I'd take them back to the store and get a refund.
:)
(I normally don't do this, but that line was too perfect)
I had my first XMB crash in a long time (a day or two ago). I was just beginning to think that they had this problem nipped.
I realize I'm asking the obvious here, but you are selecting PRO DRUMS just before you choose a difficulty level, correct? Everything will register as a tom in (non-pro) DRUMS mode.
I don't know...
I've played 4 or 5 sessions in the last 4 or 5 five weeks and haven't had a single problem (XMB or RCS). Prior to that, I'd just play until an XMB, then I'd quit (because an XMB was inevitable).
I believe that RB2/RB3 dongles have the extra USB port (for daisy chaining). RB1 dongles do not. I still have both my RB1 one guitars, and the still work great (save for the finicky tilt sensor). RB2...
My last two sessions have been problem free also. Instant connection and no XMB's. That NEVER EVER EVER happens, so I'm assuming that something has finally been done.
What is XMB mode? Is that when you're able to connect to RCS and only experience XMB crashes and no server connection issues? I haven't had that in a while.
Re: the poor devs... My apologies if...
www.facebook.com/xmbcrash is up. Feel free to use it to rant about this problem without the protocol restrictions imposed by this thread.
If Harmonix is going to ignore us, then there is no need for us to be here, on their forums. I say let's move the discussion to a more public forum, Facebook, and they can ignore us there. At least...
You can add me to the long list of PS3 users who frequently experience XMB crashes, usually at the beginning of a song. I also have to wait for long periods, sometimes hours but sometimes only...
Everyone is familiar with the "loading new download content" thing that happens (ugh) every time you start the game. I assumed this was the console counting up each piece of DLC I've downloaded. I...
I used to love Green Day. Then came American Idiot. A bit of a change, but still good. Then 20th Century completely sucked, and what's up with their even newer crap?
Not interested in the new...
It's not so much that I was upset with you in particular, as with the typical quick play experience in general. You finally find some people to play with that aren't too annoying, have some DLC, and...
That's some convoluted grammar. I believe you can earn achievements with no fail on (I'm not sure if that's what you meant or not). I normally play without no fail, just because that's the way I've...
My 2 cents...
I don't bother with quick play very often because it seems that my fellow quick players expect too much. I just want someone to play with. I don't care if you're good or bad, as long...
I've been playing this game for a long time, starting with Guitar Hero back when nobody knew what the hell Guitar Hero is. I'm fully Rock Band now, and finally starting to up really good numbers on...
Add me if you like. I play expert guitar/bass on most songs, but some of the harder songs still kick my butt at that level so I'll drop down to hard and put up high 90%'s. I also play pro drums,...
Really, is this true? I've always played "no-fill" because I just kinda assumed that playing more notes, since the fill doesn't cover any, would result in a higher score.
Also, correct me if I'm...
