I got the achievement for doing both the ESL and the Rock Marathon, yet I still have one regular gig that I haven't done in the UFO venue.

I think it would be better to focus on games that should(or at least claim to) have choices in the game rather than worry about whether or not you have something like that in Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
