In answer to my original question, yes, there is something else going on.

I'm glad that people have different ways of enjoying the game, but it's unfortunate that one person's method of enjoyment...

Do we have any idea what that target dollar amount is? If it takes a Kickstarter to get Al on board, we could see what kind of support exists.

I buy the songs I want the day they come out (1,000+ so far...). Sales allow me to go in and buy fun stuff I missed or to try songs I won't buy at full-price.

I have the same issues with Jackpot. Here's what got the GS for me:

X2, Flame, Synchronicity.

Use the X2 on the Flames and chase tracks at will with Synchronicity. It's awesome.

I have both kinds and prefer the TCs. I was concerned about the 'floppiness' as well, but it hasn't been an issue. They are very responsive and have nice give. All of my cymbals are on springs...
