OK, that's a shame, it will probably slow the process down a bit. I guess I could pay the $50 for the 4 month membership and hope that after that time I can submit from my AU account.

I'm authoring our band's tracks myself but since I'm in Australia I have submitted our first track through one of the charting groups in the US. Unfortunately this means I can't get any immediate...
Funny you mention that, since I'm doing just that in 2 weeks. Of course, since we can't transfer XBL accounts between countries, I still won't be able to download RBN tracks without creating a new...
We at Kurodust will be submitting our first track for peer review this week, but if you want to get a head start our whole album is up for free download at http://album.kurodust.net :)
There are definitely ways for international acts to get in on this, I myself have about 5 tracks at varying stages of completion ready for an authoring group to do the uploading for me. My main issue...
I mean, I feel bad for Harmonix getting all this negativity because I'm sure there are plenty of legal implications involved, but it feels like they could have put a bit more effort to at least give...
Well, it looks like your questions have been answered now that the open beta is here: we can't even sign up for a creator's account without having a US address.
I assume this means we can't even...
ReaTune is what I have been using for my tracks too, quite useful even just as a guide to narrow down each pitch
They would need to patch Rock Band 2 again to do that, so I don't think you'll be seeing it anytime soon. (Pretty sure it costs them money to do a title update)
Yep, I auditioned a couple of my tracks yesterday as well, it all works great (I videotaped it for posterity but until the album is out I can't put it up anywhere)
Now that this is all working I...
WOO! Great work on the update HMX guys, time to start auditioning my tracks. I have to go to work in half an hour though :(
No, 3 days left in the month if they're actually going to get the open beta going this month as was originally planned/hoped for. It's looking less than likely at this point, however, I'm guessing it...
*hopes the prize is some way to audition his songs soon
:p*
It would be awesome if some of this could be UStreamed or something so everybody else could watch it, even if it was for a price.
I hope this happens soon, I'm nearly at the point where I've done all I can with my tracks without actually testing them out!
This is really not a helpful post. Yes, it is a fact of life that we in countries other than the US have to wait for certain things, but in this case it was never stated that we would not be able to...
I'd like to second this sentiment. I understand there are legal issues to sort out regarding song submissions so I'm perfectly happy to go through a third party to get my songs submitted once they've...
Screenshots/videos of the lighting effects would be great! If anybody has the time, videos of the directed cuts would be really useful as well, especially for those of who can't use Audition mode yet.
If you're planning to do the authoring yourself Rhystic_1, prepare to be disappointed when you try to audition your track if you don't have an NTSC XBox 360 and a US copy of Rock Band 2; Magma...
Just be aware that if you don't have an NTSC Xbox 360 you can't use Audition mode at this point, so international bands planning to author their own tracks currently can't test them out.
