Go.
So here's what I'm loving this year so far:
PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
The Pains of Being Pure at Hear - Belong
TV on the Radio - Nine Types of Light
EMA - Past Life Martyred Saints

What the hell does Billy Corgan think he's doing accusing other bands of "selling out" after this thing?
I know, I just like the idea of an elitism onion with layers of pretentiousness.
The Divine Comedy - Bang Goes The Knighthood
It's a good album. You should listen to it if you haven't already.
8.5/10
Ridiculous names and post-rock go together like Keanu Reeves and sadness.
I've been saying this for so long.
They were great when I saw them live last night. Glad I went to that show if they're calling it quits, but I can't say I'm terribly broken up about it. I...

Favorite Dead song of all time. If you can listen to this without crying, you truly are a horrible person and should feel bad.

New Royksopp album has brought me back from the dead.
Senior is currently being played 3-4 times per day on my iPod. Loving it so much. Royksopp ftw.

Voted for these:
Pixies - Doolittle
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
Rheostatics - Melville
Tom Waits - Mule Variations
So because I enjoyed doing it, I will be continuing the "Album Of The Week" thing, but only on the blog. Links will be provided and I will update every Friday. I'll likely also post reviews of new...
8/10, Buzz is awesome.
Yes, it's the chorus of the song "S.E.X."
When I first heard this song, I immediately thought "is Chad Kroeger actually justifying rape?" I really can't think of any other way to interpret those...
"Yes, sex is always the answer, it's never a question
'Cause the answer's yes, oh the answer's yes
Not just a suggestion, if you ask a question
Then it's always yes, yeah."

I liked The Suburbs quite a bit, despite my initial reaction to the singles.
It took me three or four listens to really get into it. First time through I actually gave up around halfway in, but I really like the album now. Not sure I'd give it an 8.4 though. Probably...
