If I ever meet her, I will punch her in the face for what she did to Maiden at Ozzfest. Shame on her for ruining so many experiences at once.
Anyway, I would have to say that the whole of Iron Maiden should go in the "Nice/Cool" category. Steve Harris and Bruce Dickinson are really my two musical heroes since they have the "complete package" along with other artists like Frank Zappa.
Also, put Gaahl in the jerk category. I don't think I really need to explain if you guys know anything about him.
You don't need much explanation for Gene Simmons.
Jim Morrison often came out to his shows drunk and would do things like pull his pants down on stage
Frank Zappa always seemed like a cool guy. I can say that after reading the Bible (aka The Real Frank Zappa Book)
Dweezil stayed afterwards at the Zappa Plays Zappa concert. He signed things and spoke to people a bit. He was cool.
Dee Snider's speech at the PMRC hearings is enough to solidify a place among the cool men in rock.
King Diamond always seemed like a nice enough person. From interviews, he's always come off to me as a pretty respectable guy in general.

Definately agree with these. Marilyn leans more towards nice or hit-and-miss than jerk, though, in my opinion. I enjoyed reading the article he wrote about the Columbine shooting. He's far more intelligent than people give him credit for.
Ah, that's true. I'd probably place them under hit-or-miss, though, since none of us are really sure about what when on behind the scenes when Blondie and the Talking Heads broke up. I do know that David Byrne is adamantly against reuniting the original Heads line-up, according to Jerry Harrison.
