When is the release date (mind you this is off topic, but I couldn't find the right forum.) I phoned Eb games, and they said it comes out the 20th of december, while online it said 20th of november, now eb's online site says 30th of november, when is it out?

What would happen if someone buys the demo bundle on accident after the 20th ?

Well, they'd have an operational second guitar, which is something we'd all like to see available before Jan. 31, 2008.

This has been a real disappointment. Bought new 360 just for this game and preordered RB and got it on Tuesday and the guitar was broken and would not come on. Went to the warrenty site and choose express shipping thinkin I may have it by Friday maybe, for the long weekend.

Well I called Wednesday and Thursday and talked with customer support and they made it out to be like they were doing me a favor by sending me a replacement when I had to give them a credit card # so they would ship it. I was then told that they were express shipping it at their cost!!! Well thanks alot EA! Like I am going to pay for extra shipping on a game I paid $170 for that should have worked! I love the game but this has really taken some of the fun out of it.

I really hope that EA can get it together because I am losing confidence in EA and Harmonix.

Let me know if anyone else has had problems.

Has anyone figured out how to get the PS3 version of RB to work with the GH3 guitar. A friend of mine go the guitar to work on his XBOX360. Why wont it work on the Ps3? Doesnt the box say that its compaible with it??????

If you just calmed down and listened to what they are telling you, you would realize that EA is giving you FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING of the replacement part. You don't pay anything. They only charge you if you neglect to send the broken guitar back to them (which EA also pays the shipping on).

I am calm. I was saying that EA reps made it sound like they were doing me a favor and sending it express on just the fact that I said it was broken, which you is not true because you have to give them your card #. Also I reported this on Tuesday morning and I still do not have a tracking # or guitar!

They should replace it since it looks like that almost 50% of the special editions they sent out had something broken.

It just doesn't put much faith in me about EA or harmonix future products.

So I sit on my long holiday weekend without a fully functional game.

I actually got one of demo version from Walmart midnight release. Store received 6 copies of the game for xbox360 and only one for ps3 which i got. Just imagine my face when I opened the box and saw big letter saying: "Dear Walmart Store Manager...."

It was instructions for setting store demo stand, whats interesting guitar controller that was included in the package was WIRED (again this is PS3 version of the game). You could not say it was store demo version by looking at the box. Just like any other bundle, box looked exactly the same, even listing all the items that should come with the game, but inside was only demo version of the game (white paper cd cleeve) , wired guitar controller, drum set without foot-pedal, 2 drumsticks, and no microphone.

Anyways before returning it to the store I tried guitar controller with other GH series games, and it did not work. Walmart prompty replaced it with full version of the game w/o problems.

When we'll be able to purchase separate controllers for the game, will we have a choice between wired and wireless controllers (since there already is wired version) ?
