But it's true. Hard Rock and Metal have a square and rectangle-like relationship. A square is a rectangle, but a rectangle isn't a square. Same with Metal and Hard Rock.

Hard rock is more of a description than a genre. Genres are just a bunch of bull**** anyway, no point in arguing about arbitrary categories.
