Poor Wes Borland. The guy's a ridiculously talented guitarist and artist. I can't imagine why he keeps going back to use Limp Bizkit as his artistic vehicle.

Because every time he tries to start a new band, word gets out he was in Limp Bizkit once and it bombs.

This actually isn't too far from the truth. While not terribly technically gifted, John Otto and Sam Rivers are definitely heavy-hitting, even for a metal rhythm section. Wes Borland may be the most underrated musician of the post-grunge era.

Wes Borland is talented, but he got what was coming to him for engaging in dumb gimmicks.

Indeed. Though I do recall an interview in which he was asked why he always paints himself before LB shows, and he said something along the lines of "Because I'm ashamed of the band I play in".


Have you heard The Unquestionable Truth, Part 1? It's actually pretty decent. Definitely Borland's best work on a guitar.

Poor guy.

I've only heard some tracks by him, but he is very good.
