As far as the second one goes, I'm not too familiar with the genre, but would that qualify as rap at all? XD I've actually always liked that kind of music, but that's not what I had in mind when I made my comments =p
    Nope.

Hip-Hop is a genre that commonly uses rap vocals but is not exclusive.

    Rap is not a genre.

Well, dammit. Shows what I know.

So what's the stylistic difference between something like 50 Cent and what you just showed me? Is there even a different classification? Or is it just "Crappy" vs. "Not Crappy"?
    Nope.

The "pop" rap often on BET is called crunk. Which mixes the dirtyness of southern hip-hop, the bluntness of western hip-hop and the catchiness of eastern hip-hop. On paper it sounds like a good idea, considered all of those scenes got major popularity in the 90s. For a good base information tree:

Hip-Hop is in the breakbeat tree.

The most awesome thing ever XD Thanks.

Also, thanks for clearing that up, I guess I don't hate hip hop anywhere near as much as I thought I did. I just hate what's popular enough to never bother looking for anything deeper.
    Nope.

Most hip-hop bashers are the same. But they are just obnoxious about it.

So, following this guide to electronic music, I've been trying to find where Kenna lands.

Kenna = my favorite electronic artist evar.

what would that classify as, out of curiosity? And I hope that's the right song >_> Stupid work and stupid no speakers.
