No, you have to have the master tracks.

We will be giving people a better look into the charting process and how the Creators Club works soon. As it stands now, we recommend people use the audio/midi software Reaper for charting and the peer review / submission infrastructure relies heavily on what has been set up by XNA.
Thank you for at least reading it and hopefully you guys can clarify on the necessity to hold back content on the other platforms in the future.

I'd prefer it to be something like this.

Limit Wii and PS3 access based on quality standards, not music popularity.
We've been hitting that pretty hard since the first minutes of its announcement. Sean assures us he's doing the best he can (or has the right people doing what needs to be done) to try to get equality among all platforms.

Obviously, it will be great for bands that want to get their content to rock band and that haven't got any songs yet. And I'm sure some major label bands will play with that and even have exclusive tracks on RB to promote their new album, etc... Being a Dream Theater fan I'm sure Mike Portnoy is going to jump on this occasion and play with the tools to add more DT songs on there
Unless Nintendo starts up their own equivalent to XNA, I don't see this coming to Wii at all. Not to mention, not being able to apply patches really hurts the chances of RBN coming to the Wii. I mean, what happens if HMX wants to add features in the future or add small fixes? Does that mean Wii RBN content ends up being inferior or obsolete to everything else?

We're hoping that the Rock Band Network will be very diverse as well. Rock!

I also saw that there's potential to set up your songs that you've created and test them out in the actual game before submitting them. Is this correct?

If so, I'm assuming this would require a paid license...?

Is there any kind of automated process available to help when it comes to "dumbing down" the charts for lower difficulties? I understand if we have to tweak a bit on our own...but it'd be tough to have to basically rechart a song from scratch for each difficulty. Especially on Easy/Medium where there could be concerns for WAY under charting.

Also, I really hope that RBN music has it's own section when you choose the "sort by location" option, or else DLC is going to become ridiculously unwieldy. I wish AC/DC already had that, to be honest. It's not technically DLC, even though you download it. Not in the way that other track packs are.
