Hm, I wonder if HMX will provide some sort of guidance on their charting philosophy and conventions to the developers.
Your Love-THE OUTFIELD
The Warrior-SCANDAL
Fire Woman-THE CULT
Caught Up in You-38 SPECIAL
The bands you see in the video are fake. It shows a selection that is sorted by song, has a band named Bad Monsoon highlighted with a picture of the Anarchy Club cover. It looks like they're keeping a tight lid on this.
XBL GT: Lone Bulldogs
/rant
Tiger Uppercut: Platinum Artist | Expert: G/B | Hard: D/V
Song Count: 831 | Newest: "Great Balls of Fire" & "Dog Days Are Over"
Since these tools are near to what HMX already develops, can we get an idea of the man hours it would take to get a track ready for RBN? I know you probably aren't releasing full details yet, but I'd like an idea of what kind of time it takes "the experts" to go from master recording to testing.
I'm wondering because I suspect there will be a niche for non professional enthusiasts to take unsigned or very indie artist's music and do the rock band development for them. The labels will get their own people, but there's probably going to be a need for community developers. Before I get my interest too into this, I'm just wondering what kind of time we're looking at.
Or have I missed the idea entirely and you don't expect amateur developers to be involved?
It was never a necessity. I would love to see the RBN on all consoles. I really want RBN to embody that same passion as many underground artists have trying to get their music heard by just one more person. I hope that those same artists embrace and join RBN. I'm one of them. I release most of my music for free because I love sharing my art.
