Oh we certainly didn't forget it. We had a loooooong conversation about that song because it is awesome and would be fantastic in Rock Band. However, we came to the conclusion that A) it might be more difficult to get the rights to that song since it's a cover and HMX would have to ask Muse and whomever owns the rights to the original before they could put it in the game and B) we'd rather have Muse's original songs than their covers, even though all their covers are EPIC.

I suppose point A might be moot now that Social D's version of Ring of Fire is in RB.

    FEELING GOOD FOR DLC!!!

In listening to the second half of the song, it seems obvious that the Chopin ending is meant to be a consolation prize if the community failed to resist. I doubt that Muse would take a classic song and pretty well play it note for note without really incorporating it into the song (the current song seems like 2 songs lumped together back to back). Isn't it a bit odd that the last few minutes of the song could have been made entirely in about 10-15 minutes time?

It seems to me that the entire point of this hunt was to resist, and then eventually obtain the entire song by resisting. Instead, we did not resist, and so we ended up getting the non-resistance ending to the song. Be it that the current version of the song is still great, i can't help but feel like everyone has been duped.
Personally I agree and honestly I was hoping that Osaka Jam was going to be Collateral Damage (I mean c'mon, the name is so befitting and it would play well into the theme of missiles being primed and then at the end of the song being launched).

    C. There is no guitar

    Bliss please

So, here's the deal with this: Knights of Cydonia, Supermassive Black Hole, Stockholm Syndrome & Exo-Politics are available on GH3, but obviously only on Guitar & Bass, which kinda sucks... anyway, we have Assasin on GH:WT, Hysteria on Rock Band itself & finally, Plug In Baby has been confirmed in GH5. So, 7 Muse songs on Guitar & Bass, & 3 songs for Drums & Vox. I HAVE COME TO A CONCLUSION:

    MOAR MUSE PL0X!

There is guitar in it. The guitar part mimics the bass part (wait for the drums to come in). When I saw them play it live, Matt just played piano but in the studio version there is a guitar part.

(From the zine about lush dlc)
As if three killer three-packs weren't enough DLC this week, we have one bonus. Lots of you discovered that "De-Luxe" by Lush was one of the buried treasures on the Rock Band 2 disc, a swirly and gorgeous song that was quite different from nearly anything else in the game.

We've gotten a few requests about this band, an English male/female quartet that broke up in 1996. And no, "De-Luxe" wasn't their only great song: "Sweetness and Light" was the followup single, with more of those dreamy voices and guitars. Perfect when you're in more of an elegant mood.

THAT MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!! we have been requesting muse MUCH more

No offense, but if you're going to make a complaint about DLC, please do it in a more eloquent manner. I mean, you don't have to use perfect grammar, but phrases like "much more longer" and "THAT MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!!" don't exactly help your point.

Another protip: don't single out other bands when making your complaints (another thing you just did), because fans of the band you just bashed, including myself, might get offended.
Would you pay for music by Beck?
    Maybe.
What if you heard he owned a plane made of gold?
    Sure.
Good, because he needs the money.
