Brian Epstein was the '5th Beatle', but not in a musical sense. You could stick him in the Cavern Club. Again, it would be amusing to see this guy in a suit standing in the back, quietly observing amongst the rabble.

    Evans or Preston.

Specially Preston, a great musician that, sadly, left us.

Technically if Sgt. Pepper's album art is in the game, Stuart Sutcliffe will make an appearance.

I have to agree on Clapton. The animation of him in 60s wear with the long hair, the dashiki, and the giant red es-335 while he emotes soulfully would have been the highlight of the game. And in these cases I'd have included the overdubs to with some means of showing it was an overdub like some sort of booth or something... I can see it now... McCartney playing piano live with the band and then him in a booth doing the bass overdub. I guess they had to do it the way they did it.. but I think the session musicians and guests had to be included. The strings on yesterday, eleanor, day in the life, all you need is love... it only makes sense to portray them. But since we all know that Clapton and Preston played what they played it makes no sense not to include them and their presences mad these recordings legendary and distinctive.

Ok...alot of people mentioned made cameos for certain songs or worked with the band behind the scenes. But, in my humble opinion, there are only two other people who could be considered for this role: First would be Pete Best who was the drummer for two years and Stuart Sutcliffe who played bass for about a year and a half. I think it would be a nice tribute to them to give them a small cameo, especially Best, who was the drummer when the first got signed to a major label (and then got sacked in favor of a stronger drummer).

    But...that's just my opinion.
