Although the kiss song has a short solo, still sounds pretty cool so I'll get that one. I'd imagine once artist realize this is a much better way to make money than selling CDs they'll start giving more of their better songs or even full albums. As for Metallica, sure they're a good band. They have quite a handful of songs I like, but not everyone and their mother loves Metallica. You can't expect HMX to fill the game with one band or genre of music, it would just get way too boring.

Me and my friends Love playing ROCKBAND!!!! We have started parties every other saturday at my house. Steak tips on the grill, everyone having a great time. 15- 20 people every week....men and women everyone takes turns to play the different instrument and singing. I have downloaded almost ALL DLC and atleast someone in the group knows and likes the songs.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

I wonder if there will be a whole new Rockband 2 with lots of new music.

SO we get the B-52's instead of Metallica
As far as licensing, etc . . . you mean to tell me that MTV/EA can't persuade someone to fork over a license to a gaming company (HMX) that has proven itself twice over (GH, GH II).

Unless you happen to be Cadillac, there are just some bands out there that are never going to license their music for anything, anyone, or any amount of money.

As far as only playing Metallica . . . what about David Grohl, who also signed on. Where is more Nirvana or Foo Fighters?

I can think of 100's if not 1000's of songs that are far better and far more recognizable than these.

Also, this is the first DLC I have had issues with. There have been some that I did not like, and stated that I would not buy it. This is the first time I have had my feathers ruffled.

The whole Nevermind albums is coming...be patient. And I'm sure there will be more Foo Fighters.

So, of the three you named, two have announced albums coming...I think you can stop complaining about one measly B52's song that will be fun at parties for a good majority of players.

I think it's impressive that they have been able to put out this much and only had one week bother you. Your tastes are not all that's out there. If there's only been one week you haven't liked, feel lucky. And for a 27yo w/ plenty of responsibilities you seem to need a little growing up. Do you let your kids complain to no end if one of them doesn't like every meal they eat each month?
