actually found the 2 FNM songs live on 1 clip on youtube. It is actaully a great live performance but the lead singer is wasted and is hilarious on stage.

    help them help us

I think a lot of people are missing the point. DLC will always be a mixed bag because Harmonix is doing an excellent job creating a diverse set list and catering to all groups. BUT... what you need to realize is that there are two groups of people within Harmonix/EA (as with any creative content company)

The first is the creative types who actually pick the songs. They then give their wish list to Group 2. Group 2 are MBA's and accountants and layers who go off and make the licensing deals. Group 2's only goal is to stay on budget so they pressure Group 1 to accept less expensive songs. And group 1 is screwed because they could release "marry had a little lamb" and people would still download it.

Group 1 - the creative types - are doing a great job plucking hidden gems from the bargain bin. But unless we complain a little and more importantly vote with our wallets we are making it hard for the creative guys to convince the MBA's that they need a bigger licensing budget.

I am not criticizing the creative guys for their song choices, I am criticizing their managers for not giving them the budget to get the A-level songs. Then again it is easy for me, I have no shareholders to make happy.

Quoted for truth. This is the only explanation that makes any sense to me. They are also doing a disservice to these bands by releasing their lesser known songs (btw songs are lesser known MOST of the time because they aren't as good as the well known ones) so that people who download DLC and don't check youtube for the songs might think "Wow this sucks I'm never gonna download anything from this artist again."

i must tell you that i'm not impressed by what is being released for downloadable content. I mean yeah Roam, Ten Speed, Buddy holiday. as well as some of the other songs are great but none of them are like oh i gotta have that song right now. I tell you i've been saving my MS points to buy new songs and as of late i hvaen't seen anything i'd want to play. I mean I understand there needs to be diversity but this is getting rediculus based on the last month and this one there is nothing good coming out for a while I hope that they put some better songs out soon, cause i want new songs just not the ones they've put out so far. That's just my opinion i could care less if you wanna bash me or dabate i don't care. I won't be checking for responses.

This would be the first week that I didn't buy any. Nothing really stood out to me as interesting.

    Sorry, guys.

    My choice in music.

on a side note I'd like to see some Story of the Year, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Fall of Troy, Incubus, Papa Roach , Dashboard Confessional (specifically the song "Vindicated"), Korn (the older stuff), 311 (song "You Wouldn't Believe"), Bloodhound gang, The Offspring, The Used, (I could go on) I feel that they are just grabbing some older crap that many people don't even remember. Don't get me wrong I'm all for some Journey, Lynard Skynard, AC/DC but please make it well know music not some crap no one appreciated as much as the stuff that made them famous.

You have to include all rock forms as rock just becuase it's punk doesn't mean it's not rock. (punk is just an example it could be any type such as alternative rock, progressive , hardcore, as well as classic and plain old rock)
