Cant get behind this one bit. Stopped at the second line about extra buttons on the fretboard.

A 6th button makes no sense at all. Look at a real guitar. On string 6 open note is E, fret 1 is F, fret 2 is F#, fret 3 is G, fret 4 is G#. What is fret 5 (ie the 6th button?), its A which is the same as open note for string 5 open note.

Which then proceeds down the line from A to A#, B, C, C#, and then the 6th note is D, which is open note on string 4. I.e. repeat through all 6 strings. Harmonix knows music, they know what they are doing when they designed 5 frets for the guitar. Anything more is just ******ed. I dont mean this in a gameplay, aesthetic, or pratical sense. I mean this on a music theory level.

No Iron Maiden, Helloween, Pantera, Diamond Head, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Anthrax, Testament, Ozzy Osbourne, Running Wild, or Savatage in the setlist?

That setlist is pretty damn bad, especially when it's missing so many examples of fantastic classic Metal.

Whoa yes. The others you have mentioned here are standard but bonus points for Savatage.
