1. Initail Problems
1.1.1 Leakage
The first major problem of rock band unplugged was the leakage. Yes obvouis. Although this hyped poeple up more, it made other OFW users upset and many of them didnt buy the game.
1.1.2 Multiplayer
Where is it? lost? flushed it down the toilet! the 2nd most important part of a rythmn game and the most important part of a party game is being able to play with your friends. IF and I mean a major IF, Multiplayer online was not possible due to sony being cheap, Ad-Hoc Multiplayer with Warmup mode would have been fun. I mean, most games that do not have online on the psp have Ad-Hoc online, and i saw a brilliant oppurtunity here for a brilliant game.
1.1.3 Practice Mode
Probalby the most important part of a rythmn game is being able to practice things. How can you "get" rythmn from random playthroughs. Its like throwing a stone into a pond and hoping to kill a fish. It took me 87 tries, Mr. highest score on Painkiller, to pass the Constant motion solo. It took another 473 to FC 3 times in a row. This is the most daunting part of the game, especially with the harder songs. Even if we only got a lame Guitar hero one (25%,50%,75%, full speed ahead!) this would have greatly improved player satisfaction and enjoyment and reduced player frustration.
1.1.4 Song list
41 songs. 41. 20 + 21. Either way you look at it most of this is less than rock band 2 considerably. add to this the DLC is 2 tracks per week. This game doesnt seem to be that hard to chart for, I would quite happily chart a bunch of the RB2 and RB1 songs for free, and 10 songs a week, every instrument. Yes, i have a large amount of time, but this part of the game is a serouis letdown.
1.1.5 Leaderboards
Absent. The only place on the entire internet for rock band unplugged leaderboards is scorehero.com, and even this is underused and unwanted as hell itself. Even if you coded it so that is would automatically upload a score, and picture to your scorehero account this would be fine. Or use the PSP's PSN ID to upload scores onto
1.1.6 Costumes
Lame. There seems to be a large lack on the customes side of RB:U. dont get me wrong, I love the stuff we did get, but would it be that much harder to add in ALL of the clothing. This would truly add an extra element to the game. Small rant ahead

I miss ultimate clothing. Continuing, I was upset that i played through all 41 songs, and waited through the credits, and all i got was this lousy backbone guitar (Please dont turn that into a T-Shirt)
1.1.7 Backgrounds
I can see there would be some limitations as to what you can and cannot get the background "doodz" to do. In RB2 there is always a "supa1337killa" show going on and in RB2 i was kind of dissapointed. I usually miss notes in RB2 becuase i keep my eyes off the road dickhead (the notechart) and are watching the pretty lights in the background. (insert insult to personal skill level here) Really, the background was, well, lame. Just a bunch of dudes dancing around like they needed to take a slash. At the same time.
1.1.8 Setlists
I once made a setlist of the 10 hardest songs, (DLC and otherwise) and attempted them all in one sitting. Being the tough thumbed player i was i managed to GS the first few, then started getting 5*,4*,3* and finally i met the trooper. The "Dood" Bent me over and smacked my ass around a little bit, but I deserved it. So i said to myself "Cool Song bro!" and went to hit the skip song. only to find it was missing. Where did it go? murdered, owed "Tony" the mafia boss a favour, or just needed to go to the toilet? this really detracts from the game when you are playing through large setlists (For reference, my thumbs are ultra-tough. -3 on Number of the beast drums)
1.1.9 Modifiers
This, was annoying. I got the game, fired it up and realised that i could only play songs up to tier 3. I wanted to Get destroyed by Painkiller, have my thumbs scream for vengance after Laid to Rest's killer drums and then have Holiday in Cambodia intro drumroll lay into me. I found the modifiers and realised i couldnt play these songs until i had "Unlocked them" and forfiet the scoresaving function. I expected all the songs to be unlocked at once, and to have a few bonus songs suprise me (serouisly, visions drums would have been awesome, but danny already FCed that)
1.2 Suggestion 1 (Drum only, Bass pedals)
First suggestions first, Make a Drum only mode with a bass pedal. WHAT!?!? Crazy I know. Simple, The Left and Right shoulder would do the bass pedals and each face button would do it's respective job. (Refering to my next point about exporting, this next comment will make sense) Well, for the Drum rolls, The Red drum rolls would be Left and Triangle, the yellow to Left and Circle, The Blue to up and circle and the Green to Up and Triangle. The same could also be done for all instruments apart from vocals, Noone cares about vocals anyway
1.2 Suggestion 2 (PS3 only?)
Make a way that through connecting our PSP with our PS3 while pressing import is will export all the Drum tracks (maybe others aswell) onto the PSP's memory stick, for use with the afforemention drum system. This would extend playability to miles long.
well, that is all, Au revouir and please, please take this into consideration for Rock Band Unplugged 2
Sincerely PerfectSolo.
