I was one of the folks that were ok with TB:RB not being exportable; I understood the reason those songs were standalone. I can't get past it on this one. If they eventually release the song list as DLC, I'll buy the ones I want. Heck, I'd probably go buy Lego Rock Band after that. But right now I'm just disappointed.

Yeah, that big cloud of DLC/Export disappointment is hard to ignore. Lots of ticked-off Wii owners here.
On that note, I thought I'd just quickly update my initial impressions after playing LRB for hours and hours over the last three nights:
1) The DLC issue. Still sad. Makes me want to buy a 360.
2) The Graphics: Good thing the Lego people themselves look fine...It saves the game.
3) Set List: I'm actually finding this tied with The Beatles as the most consistently enjoyable on-disc set list I've ever played in a music game...for an older player like me.
4) Gltiches: Still hate the fact that each performance loads the venue/band/crowd animation before the crowd sounds, so you get eerie silence until the song starts. It's just weird. On the PLUS side, the game hasn't frozen or crashed at all.
4) Fun Factor/Entertainment Value: Through the roof. Astronomical. Almost as good as The Beatles. Almost.

Story mode is addictive. Songs are very replayable. Still unlocking things. The band animations make me smile.
So, there ya go. I honestly think that, if 1) you like the track list and 2) you dig the humor of the Lego universe, then the game's entertainment value overcomes its weaknesses. The fun really is there.
If in doubt, rent. The key moment will be when you reach the pirate ship venue. Because it's not pretty on Wii. At that point, you'll either be having so much fun that you'll forgive the graphics...or you won't.
