Spirit in the Sky is RB2 on-disc, so it won't show up either way right now. Apart from that, this reminds me of the laugh I had when I first heard the uncensored version of This Ain't a Scene. Seriously, folks, if "goddamn" bothers you, that's okay, but then you should blank out "damn". This way, you censored God. I doubt He approves.

I always found it pretty funny how "goddamn" is usually censored, same with "a-hole"--they bleep out "hole".

goddamn doesn't bother me. What bothers me is censorship and how God is unacceptable but goddamn is not. Its also not censored at all. this isn't a case where the blank out the damn or god but its there in its entirety to be said by a 7 yr old. Personally I think its awesome I get to play the Dead in my Lego RB but It's ridiculous that my kid can't sing her favorite songs from RB2 because someone decided that God, Lord or any other possible religious phrase is not family friendly.

Hell Lord and God could refer to any higher being that a person believes in. Freddie wasn't a christian and I don't think he was a satanist either but he could have been calling out to the Dark Lord for all we know!

And if we gonna censor this, why is Ride a White Swan in there? It refers to pagan beliefs. Why is Free Fallin in there it refers to loving Jesus?

Yeah, I was really, really, REALLY surprised to find that only 4 out of 10 Queen songs made it. And Fat Bottomed Girls was one of them. Hmmm... So, Somebody to Love is bad because, god forbid, our kids don't need to know about someone needing love, but a song about how a person who loves Fat Bottomed Girls is A-okay. This whole Family Filter thing is Bull-crap. They really screwed up this time. However, I blame Tt games for this atrocity. Considering they programed the damned thing. However, the game is very awesome. The storys great in my opinion, and so is the song selection. Finally! Kung-Fu Fighting and a Jimi Hendrix song! And more Jackson 5! YEAHHHH. In conclusion, The game is great, but the create-a-rocker sucks and so does this stupid "Family-Filter" ROCK BAND FOREVER! Marvelfan, OUT!

The ATR songs don't have any offensive lyrical content.

"Say It Ain't So" has multiple alcohol references ("heine", "cold one", "bottle of Stevens"), and also "your drug is a heartbreaker" might offend some.

In "Undone": "Goddamn", more alcohol references, "Superman skivvies", "I'll soon be naked", etc. Hey, at least we've still got "My Name is Jonas".

Some of Nirvana's Nevermind stuff made it in and it doesn't have the album art edited out and I thought that was a bit odd. You know, we get that be Caprici Di Diablo is cut. Seems like some Grade A bull to me.

I really don't get why 'Another One Bites The Dust' don't make it? Only reason I could think of is the slight violence, but practically any kid knows the song anyway.

"Well do ya, do ya, do ya wanna
Well do ya, do ya, do ya wanna
Wanna go where I never let you before"

How is that tame enough for kids?

Not that I'm complaining of course. But as this thread continues to point out, there doesn't seem to be any consistency to the filter.
