My bad, I'm referring to Brutal Legend.

The game features both Dimmu Borgir's Progenies and Dragonforce's Through the Fire and Flames. You don't need a deep wealth of metal lore to get most of what it offers. Ozzy has a lot of injokes in his lines, but other than scenery references (like the danzig skull in a giant mountain of skulls) are gonna be superficial easter eggs. He totally misses the mark on black metal, the game soundtrack features no real death metal (Dethklok? really?) and the final faction is based purely on industrial metal.
Loved the game though, you just dont need metal arcanum to guide you.

From what I've read in interviews, Tim is more a NWOBM and Thrash fan. He doesn't seem too into Death or Black metal.

Knowing Lemmy's last name also helps.

Oh hes obviously an 80s metalhead, Im not faulting him for anything. His understanding of extreme metal is pretty shallow and his understanding of black metal is waaaay off. He has post-emo haircut guys, gothic brides, and victorian-esque fashioned units all wrapped up in a blanket of depression put to the soundtrack of black metal?
And his taste in 80s metal is pretty standard affair. Priest, Motorhead, Ozzy, Crue, Kiss, etc...
Also good to see Myst posting again.
