I should have known when I got to my Old Store at 2:50 and was 200th in line that I wasn't going to get one. Only took 15 minutes before an employee walked out saying they were out of LRB copies. Guessing they only had 25 copies or so. Totally not worth getting up at 2 in the morning.

I got in line at 2am, fairly close to the front. Waited for two hours in a blizzard (not exaggerating, either. I live in Michigan), and when the mall opened the doors, ran in to the new line outside the store proper, and the guy right in front of me got the very last wristband (Ps3, which is what I wanted, too) so I just left without bothering to shop.

    It sucked.

My wife hit the Old Navy at Mall of America around 11:00 AM and was able to score a copy of the PS3 version. She had to ask if they still had some around. Now... I just need to hock it for a Wii version.

I was still up at 1:30am so I figured I would swing by the Mall and get in line. Showed up just before 2am and there were already over 200 people in line. There was a chance that not many of those people were there for the game, but no a good enough chance to stop me from going home and going to bed.

I drove out to the mall at 5am, there were a couple people in cars waiting, but I decided to just wait by the door and then they got out and joined me. Waited till 6 and we got the wristbands then at 630 the mall security guard let us in early (it was getting quite cold). At about 645 they ran out of wristbands and then at 7 Old Navy opened and I got the game with an AC/DC tshirt and some socks. Canada isn't to crazy about Black Friday....yet.
This is for all the weak people in the audience. Is there anyone here who's WEAK?! This is for you it's called Run Like Hell- Pink Floyd

My plan was to watch a movie @ 12AM and head over to ON before they open. Unfortunately the midnight show was canceled, and went to ON with my wife. Was first in line, waited for 3 hours until they opened and got 2 copies of LRB They gave away 70 wristbands at that store. An hour before opening there were like 50 people in the line so pretty big chance of winning a game for anyone who went an hour before the store opened, but at 3AM there were like 200 people already in the line when the store opened. At 4 there were like 400 people in the store and another 100 in the line outside.

I showed up about 5 minutes before they opened and had no problem getting one. The girl handing them out had more then there were people in line. I guess that is another benefit of living in a small town like Frisco, CO.

    Cool

I know it's a bit after Black Friday, but...

I didn't get my copy at Old Navy, oh, but I really thought about going.

Instead I slept in for a few more hours, woke up at 4:45, and went to Wal-Mart.

Got two Blu-ray players, two Blu-Rays, then went to the Electronics department and grabbed L:RB.

Wal-mart, according to their ad, had "Deal matching". So when I got to the checkout, I showed them the Old Navy ad that said "Buy $20 worth of merchandise and receive Lego Rock Band for FREE!"

Oh, how they didn't want to give it to me for free. The guy asked the head manager and then the assistant manager of the store, and they both said no, that "Free wasn't a price". I told them it was and that I spoke to a few people days prior and they all said yes.

Eventually, they let me have it. Oh, how I love Wal-mart.
