Silent Alarm is definitely one of my favorite albums but the majority here in HoR don't seem to like Bloc Party....

I enjoyed a good amount of the tracks but thought that they could've gotten rid of a good amount of the filler and made a 30-35 minute album with the better tracks.

13. I honestly thought a good amount was still filler, though, and the album ran for a little over 50 minutes.

To me, Silent Alarm starts off very strong, starts to sag in the middle, and then has a solid ending.

To me, Silent Alarm starts off very strong, starts to sag in the middle, and then has a solid ending.

Kind of agree. Up until track 8, it's pretty strong but falls flat after. I also think the ending is probably the weakest part of the album.


Modest Mouse - Night on the Sun
