PS3 song preview

Is it just me or is there no way to preview the RBN songs like in the regular music store?

Is this just a PS3 thing?

I have a xbox so I don't really know but the best bet I would guess is youtube them if that's the worst case scenario.

They were working on friday at one point in the US. They work in the EU store.

The problem I have is not the fact that the previews (at least on my account) isn't working, but more about, as far as I know, there being no further update about the issue from developers.

The only input from HMX that I know of is from the first week of PS3 RBN release, when on April 22nd, HMXHenry stated:

The previews didn't go live today (as we had hoped) when we "flipped the switch" that HMXjohnd alluded to yesterday. We're almost positive we know why the audio previews aren't popping up and we've got a fix in place but we probably won't be able to roll it into place until the PSN store updates next week. Everything else appears to be running smoothly in the US and EU stores so enjoy this first batch of RBN tracks and next week we should have the audio previews working as intended. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Now, maybe I just missed a follow-up announcement somewhere, but as far as I know, nothing else has been mentioned, and at least on my game, the preview function has not been fixed.

And given that EU preview function has been fixed (or was it ever broken?) and some US PS3 RB owners claiming that it was working fine on their system (at least at some point, as Bront20 has pointed out above), I'm left wondering whether HMX believe the issue to be resolved and have not done anything further with the problem.

I do appreciate when the developers communicate openly about issues even when they know they are not always good news, like the attempt at fixing the shaky-arrow in the patch issue. I even appreciate those posts by developers when they don't have any new information to give, but stating that they are still working on whatever the problem is. I wish there was more of that.

I do indeed, 40GB PS3 also.

Previews have worked correctly since the first week.

I haven't had the option to preview any of the RBN songs on my PS3 since it went live.....

Like silent was saying, I was under the assumption that this was being taken care of. I would just like HMX to know that at least myself, do not have the option to preview songs on the RBN.

I just messaged HMXHenry, and asked him if he can give us any information on this matter, and directed him to this thread. It's really strange that some people have it, and others don't. If it was a EU vs US problem, I'd understand it, but apparently that's not it, as shown by wesjett08's post.

Can other US PS3 owners chip in this thread, and let us know if their RBN Preview Function is working or not, as well as any other information that could help us determine what may be causing some of us to not have the Preview Function available?
