We have YiG at my school as well and I plan on doing it this year or next, will look good for colleges esp since i am majoring in history.

No way, my school too! A team from my school actually won nationals a year or two after I graduated. I never got to nationals, but state was always fun.

The people on mock trial here were just the overachievers, or the smart kids, or whatever. Not that many douches, but I guess there were a couple.

**** my school goes to nationals for mock trial all the time as well, we did poorly this year though. I think last year we were top 15.

I regularly compete in Speech and Debate and Track and Field, most of the Mock Trial kids are also debaters.

I play baseball....Debate was too hardcore for me, too many Asians and Arabs.

Almost 75 or 80% of debaters don't research, in my experience, if you know your **** and have the documents to prove it, you dominate.

The only high school extracurricular worth doing is Nintendo. Bring an N64 to your school and do that instead of anything else. That's what made senior year both tolerable and even enjoyable for me.

Oddly enough, I've never owned a Nintendo system, console or handheld...

i was raised on an NES. i never even played another system really until 1997 (when i got introduced to the SNES, Genesis, and Game Boy Pocket)
