I'm still not quite sure. I was a little worried I'd hate the main character, just from what I'd read, but that hasn't been the case at all. It's been entertaining enough but I find it hard to sit there and watch more than an episode or two. I'm only up to episode 6 or something, so I think I need to watch some more.

I've been working on a film recently, about 70 hours in the last week. Got it all finished 8 hours ago (and it screens 2 hours from now). Now that I'm done with it I can get back to my precious tv

I am watching season 2 of Star Trek TNG.

Netflix makes watching TV fun again.

Finally got all caught up on Dexter. That show is awesome! After watching all four seasons, I think they're all great but season 2 was the best. I ended up watching the entire second season in one day.

Rose of the Devil's Garden - Tiger Army
    Don't Change - INXS
    Highway Song - Blackfoot

Then look up the Batman Beyond movie, Return of the Joker. There's a family-friendly cut and a "PG-13" cut. Definitely go for the PG-13 version.
Thanks for the recommendations (I already know I love the Batman:TAS (I meant pesky as in "hard to find" complete series collection), as I watched it as a kid and initially had a couple of volumes of the DVDs (had to sell to raise money)).

I bought (the same day I got the Superman:TAS collection) the Return Of The Joker DVD (PG-13 cut) and watched it that night. I thought it was really great, especially how dark it was.

That being said, however, I couldn't get used to hearing Kevin Conroy's voice coming out of the character and it disconnected me from things unfortunately (although Hammil's Joker was completely perfect, as usual)

You're not used to seeing Kevin Conroy's Batman as an old man, or just not used to Kevin Conroy as Batman period?

If it's the first, then yeah, it helps you appreciate Return of the Joker a little more if you've seen "Batman Begins," at least the first season. The pilot episode does a good job showing Bruce Wayne giving up his batwings and accepting old age, if not quite happily.

Glad you liked the movie, though!
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

Finished season 1 of Sports Night. Awesome show from the late 90's. Really cool stuff.

Season 2 of Sons of Anarchy done, I burned through all that today basically in one big sitting, haven't done that in a loooong time. Quality TV there, people.

Also got through all of Rescue Me. It wasn't bad but I'm not sure yet if I'll continue with it or not. I just find it annoying to watch a bunch of jerk dudes do macho bull**** and pay each other out for 35 minutes each episode, then have 5 minutes where they act all emotional and it's somehow meant to cancel out the fact they're a total douche.

Conroy's Batman as an old man.

I grew up with Conroy's Batman, and he is, therefore, the defacto voice for the character in my eyes. I just couldn't get used to seeing him as an old man, and the fact that his voice still sounded like the Batman that I grew up listening to, disconnected things further because he didn't age his voice with the role.

Anyways, minor quibbles in the end, and I really hope that Conroy continues to voice the role in the future (I know he's in the upcoming "Apocolypse"). He really is the voice of Batman, just like Tim Daly is Superman (although Baldwin did a good job in "Doomsday"). I was so heartbroken to hear that Mark Hamill was retiring from being The Joker after "Arkham City"
