Not a huge fan of the Quickplay changes like the unlimited setlist, super host powers and the ability to add the same song to the setlist more than once.

BUT CAN I PLEASE GET MATCHED UP WITH PLAYERS WITH DLC??? I DIDN'T SPEND ALL THAT MONEY NOT TO PLAY THOSE SONGS.

I would have thought this would be the first thing implemented into RB3, but somehow I still get ****ed over when I play online by having to play the same songs every single time. Thanks.

    *System Xbox 360

Last night I had some friends over and we each signed in. So there were 4 different profiles. We started up Rock Band 3 with a vocalist, guitar, bass, and keyboard but the game would only allow 3 of them to be used without all instrument mode being turned on. When we would turn one of the controllers off it would let the one it was previously blocking in. Then turning on the controller you just turned off it would become the blocked controller. It was the RB Keyboard, RB guitars (wireless RB2 versions), and we tried it with both the wireless mic and the RB usb mic.

    Talking Requested Feature

Please add (if possible) a way to adjust the vocal setting while in "all instrument" mode. As you probably already know, the the settings that the game vocals and mics are at before turning on all instrument mode is where they stay until you turn off all instrument mode. This may seem like a minor feature for your average player at home, but it is extremly important to have for parties and Bar Nights.

    Thank You.

How about a quick recall of the Wii game, fix the bugs (e.g. animation lag, missing DLC, etc.) and re-release the game just in time for Christmas?

    Features I would like added/changed:
    - BNS for Practice Mode
    - Change the solo background for the note chart highway to something more obvious like in RB2.
    - Show the Song and Artist information for the current song right at the beginning rather than 10 seconds in.
    - Band Career Mode
    - Ability to have more than one Band per profile.
    - Bring back missing character creation items from RB2, especially male faces. I can't recreate the Scrapper look for the life of me. Miss the Cthulu guitar too.
    - Bring back Character Personality Types(probably too much coding required though).
    - Miss the two toned hairdos, seems less common. Some female hairdos have it automatically and it cannot be changed or turned off.
    - Ability to sort by Location. The sort by date doesn't separate out RBN at all.
    - Maybe include a quick key to choose sorting options rather than pressing select, changing it and then backing out.
    - Need the ability to set my stand-ins to a specific instrument rather than random.

    Bugs
    - Can't connect to Rock Band Central Server for the PS3. I am not sure how widespread this is(I thought it was fairly common), but I am rather surprised not to see the forums flooded with this so maybe it is not as big as I thought. Haven't tried yet today though.

    Bug and request:
    Xbox 360:
Not sure of the song, but it seems that the toms and cymbals were mapped backwards, looks like there might be a few songs with this problem.

Mic and overdrive not working. My poor wife was screaming into the thing and nothing.

    Features:
Ability to export or use other characters. We spent an hour creating characters only to realize that they had to be for each profile.

One for the website, can we still sort by date added? I liked that feature and can't find it.

    All for now.

Edit: one more, a total note count at the end, so you know how many notes you hit out of the total notes. I don't like doing math when I'm rocking out.

I can check later tonight if this is just a single song issue, a Cancer Bats general issue, or just having to do with RBN songs.
This is an RBN issue. Early RBN did not have pro drums support, so RB3 maps everything to the cymbals for those songs. Pro drums were introduced a few months ago, and most, but not all, songs since then should have proper pro drums charts.

    Suggestions

I wish they had an option to make the music video venue the white room from RB2. The dreamscapes can be very hard on the eyes, and even for those of us who can physically stand them, they're pretty dopey and cheesy. While we're on the topic of accessibility, I wish we could turn off the groove highways at full multiplier.

And, here's my first grand suggestion post for either patches or RB4, depending on which features are too big to patch:

DLC should be used as an alternative method to unlock an item that is locked behind an instrument we don't have or want to play. Clothes would have one song for each instrument, and instruments would only get alternative-unlock DLC challenges if the instrument requires Pro mode.

Instruments should be expanded. Guitar/Bass: A custom shop should be unlockable late in the game, as an alternative to the fantasy instruments. Like GH, you would choose a model, then get to choose options like finish, materials, and parts. Either Pro Mode, a Visions-esque song on the disc, or a DLC song challenge about as hard but not beyond the reach of good Expert players would unlock it. Keys: An option to show a keytar instead of a keyboard with stand, so that keys avatars won't be so lifeless. Drums: Option to switch brands of cymbals on the drumset in the game, or at least switching between A and K Zildjian models.

Lineup control should be expanded, all the way to eight stand-ins: Both genders of lead singer, two backing singers, and the four instruments. If you assigned a vocal and an instrumental duty to the same character, that would make the character sing and play at the same time. And, there would be a "Don't Use" option for one gender of lead vocals (if you want to force your singer to not do the swap) and for each of the instruments, if you are recreating a band that does not have one of the players. There would also be an option to show both lead singers at the same time, in which case you only will have one backing singer. For multiple vocalist bands, you would also be able to assign which character is doing the tap section animations like cowbell.

AIM on PS3 should support the extra controllers. For 360/Wii, there should be an option, where the vocalist signs in first to put their character on stage, then drops out to make way for the fourth instrument, the scores would count, and then after the session, one instrument player would sign out so that the vocalist's profile could sign in, and then all the vocals progress would be credited to that profile. And, Guitar/Bass/Keys should be a legal combination outside of AIM.

And of course, the return of the Score Duel.

    Bug

XBOX 360 with ION Drums on PRO Drums mode, all 3 cymbals
    Quick Play and Practice mode

The color splash at the bottom of each note lane doesn't fade away. I noticed this after failing out of a song in Pro Drums mode and going to Practice Mode.

After a note was hit, a blob of glowing color to match the lane would stay in the lane while I practiced the song. The harder I hit the pads, the larger the color blob was.

After I left Practice mode and went back to Quick Play, the same thing happened.

I restarted the game and it worked normally again.
