Might need a stasis upload for this one...I couldnt even find a review of this album...

Jukebox, you can use the cover art from RYM, but you have to save it to your computer and then upload it.

I actually just listened to my first SLB album earlier today, loved it! And Uriah Heep I'll have to give another go, haven't listened to them since I was first getting into prog a few years back and I haven't heard Lucifer's Friend, I get the impression I should?

If HMX can't fix their forum I think I'm just going to make this a blog-only thing.
The toolbar buttons are no longer responding so I can't link text. They also somehow screwed up basic bold/italic/underline commands.

Bottomless Pit - Hammer Of The Gods
    Genre: Indie Rock
    Year: 2007

Former members of Silkworm and Seam release a more somber, but still thick and meaty set of tunes here.
I've seen multiple people refer to this as "slowcore via Albini".

Recommended If You Like: Silkworm, Seam, Superchunk, The New Year, Eric's Trip, and Versus.

    Sample via myspace.

    Deathpile - G.R.
    Genre: Power Electronics/Harsh Noise
    Year: 2003

Based on the Green River murders this recording is over-the-top perverse and violent, full of dense bass, and just varied enough to keep my attention from wandering from what's important here.
I can't think of a power electronics album I've enjoyed this much since I discovered The Grey Wolves, despite the recent backlash from internet noise fanatics.

Recommended If You Like: Whitehouse, The Grey Wolves, Sutcliffe Jügend, Genocide Organ, Control, and Grunt.

    The First Whore
    Genesis

EDIT: Fixed the issue. Go to the web-support forum for answers if you're a fellow firefox user who wants to crush the forums into dust.

Yeah I got it now. Thanks.

Also, Bottomless Pit is solid so far.

Strictly Ballroom - Hide Here Forever
    Genre: Emo
    Year: 1997

I remember people making a big deal out of the ambient qualities of this album when it was released, and they are present at times, but overall this record is just a testament to thoughtful playing alongside the yummy emotional outpour.
Oh, the dude from Dntel/Postal Service played bass here and a future Beachwood Sparks member is taking care of guitar/voice duties.

Recommended If You Like: Cap'n Jazz, I Hate Myself, Christie Front Drive, Street Smart Cyclist, Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate), and Snowing.

    Sample via last.fm.

    Blog already updated.

Judy Henske & Jerry Yester - Farewell Aldebaran
    Genre: Psychedelic Folk/Baroque Pop
    Year: 1969

Released by Zappa on his own label, this album basically shifts style with almost every song, but keeps it all going where most others fail.
Fans of late 60's psychedelic music in any style will surely love this, so if the opening track of Joplin Airplane worship throws you off stick around a bit longer before giving up.

Recommended If You Like: Harry Nilsson, The Left Banke, Fairport Convention, The Association, Van Dyke Parks, and Linda Perhacs.

Sample most of the album via youtube playlist.

Silian Rail - And I You, To Pieces
    Genre: Post-Rock/Math Rock
    Year: 2008

It's tough to describe this band without selling them short, but if you can imagine Hella going back to the core duo and releasing a bunch of imaginary instrumental Broken Social Scene covers you may have an idea of what's going on here though you'd still be expecting something more abrasive than this 'cuz this guitar is all kinds of clean.
Also, if you can see these guys live, do not hesitate. They totally rule... Easily the most impressive math rock band since Battles.

Recommended If You Like: Hella, From Monument To Masses, By The End Of Tonight, Faraquet, Cats And Cats And Cats, and Piglet.

    Sample via myspace.
