i guess i pressed the wrong button when i answered this the other day cause it's not on here
1 pink floyd, any song, but my 2 faves would be Time and Comfortably Numb, any LEd Zeppelin, any ORIGINAL Black Sabbath, Van Halen/ Van Hagar, The Fixx, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, FLock Of Seagulls (yeah yeah... those last 3 really clash with all the other bands i've listed, but what can i say, i grew up in the 80's) The Outfield, Asia, Candlebox, queensryche, Triumph, U2, type o negative, the eagles

    2. more def leppard (photograph, too late, animal, hysteria, let it go, bringin' on the heartache, pour some sugar on me, rock of ages, lets get rocked) more journey (seperate ways, people & places, wheel in the sky, only the young) kansas (point of no return, portrait (he knew) )more stones, more godsmack, some songs from faith no more off of "album of the year" especially last cup of sorrow, and ashes to ashes. more metallica, more meatloaf, more, more MORE! basically i'd like everything in my cd collection and my mp3 collection turned into RB songs.
How long before "there's an app for that."?

I can tell JMK and I grew up with same kind of music. Glad to see someone else likes Triumph (Magic Power and Never Surrender anyone?), Asia and the Fixx. I personally would like to see just about any Led Zepplin - especially anything from their first four albums. I'd like to see stuff from Queensryche's Empire or Operation Mindcrime. Anything from Pink Floyd during the David Gilmore years especially Comfortably Numb, Breathe and Run Like Hell. Anything from U2 - Especially from The Joshua Tree. I'd like to see much more hard rock. Dokken? OK - don't punch me for that one.

As for the existing bands on RB3. I would love to see more Rush off of Permanent Waves, Hemispheres, Vapor Trails and Counterparts. (I know - really big surprise there). Maybe Entre Nous or Freewill? More Def Leppard would be cool. I'd really like to see more Boston, the Police and the Rolling Stones. Metallica - Fade to Black, One and anything off of the Black Album. I won't be holding my breath though.

Rigour6 and Dress2Kill ... enjoyed finally playing with both of you. I haven't played You've Got Another Thing Comin' in quite awhile. And it shows. I really like that song though. Let's take another shot at it after I practice it a few times. That damn final solo got me. &*^%*.

Noticed a bunch of song I've got to work on to catch you
Crazy,I thought you were just a drummer..lol..we should get some people together and make an attack on the band scores.I haven't tried vocals on RB3 yet,but maybe I can voxtar them to help the score.I havent run into too many vocalist with those songs, even playing RB2.
My next goal is to catch you on Well Thought Out Twinkles or twinkies as I like to call it.That song just rocks.

    "just a drummer"

I consider drums my primary instrument, it's certainly where I have the most fun. I also think they're the most challenging (of course I haven't tackled pro guitar, I'm sure that will destroy me). I've been trying to get into Pro Keys too, but progress is slow there. I have more fun playing the Expert Guitar & Pro Drums parts then I do slogging along on Medium on Pro Keys.

I love that you are a "Twinkies" fan! Did I help convert you to the SSPU religion?! "Panic Switch" and "Sort Of" are great fun too.

Hey Chub, enjoyed the session yesterday - playing with you forced me to step up my game! Felt pretty good about that 100% first time playing the Depeche Mode - even if it was only on M.

Thanks for the invite. Give me a shout anytime you need someone: even if the drum chair is filled, I'm glad to noodle along on E keyboards or M vocals.

    I just play for fun.

Open invite - anytime. With respect to forcing you to step up your game, Rockinrollers and Madillma did the same thing to me. About a month or so ago, they convinced me to try playing on Expert. I can now play most all of the 1st through 3rd tier songs pretty well. I am still struggling with the solos on the 4th tier songs and on up. I don't know where I am missing it. I can read the chart fine, I think i'm either going too fast or too slow and missing notes. It's aggravating as hell. I can definitely say that the "push" from other players (in a good way) will quickly improve your game more than anything else. The good thing is that everyone on this thread is playing for fun.

I have to say that you definitely blew away that Depeche Mode song. 100% - that always rocks.

I should of said "just played drums" haha
I don't know about SSPU religious, more like the guy who drives by slow and says "cool church".

And your right Chubs about playing with better players to step up your game.Especially with John,my left hand cringes whenever I see the invite. The man must have the patience of a saint though to have put up with me through the RB2 times. For awhile I thought my screen name was "Jammmer failed" and everyone else was "Saviour".

Also I haven't bought any dlc for RB3 so I'm wondering what everybody's top three dlc picks would be since it was released.

for me it was finally getting access to the rbn songs, but alas, the wii folks get shafted again because they are not producing anymore for our fave console, but really, to me anyway, it's really not that big of a loss since most of the bands seem to be into what my bro-in-law calls "chainsaw music". bands with names like cannible corpse and deatheaters don't really appeal to me...but i'm going off on a tangent...i was glad to be able to get paralyzer from the rbn, and the bee gees is an interesting addition to the ever growing list, but my top pick, so far has to be subdivisions, because not only do i love Rush (which i will be seeing from the floor at the KFC yum center on april 5 here in Louisville!!!) but now we have some rush with ALL the instruments.

Yeah Subdivisions is probably the best RB3 DLC. "Piano Man" by Billy Joel is a close 2nd. I was shocked that the guitar/mandolin and drum parts are actually quite entertaining, making it good for the entire band.

Oh there are some EPIC Queen tracks too -- Under Pressure & Somebody to Love are perfect for keys & harmonies.

Bon Jovi is popular and has some good tracks too.
